Often quilters send out press or media releases to announce a new book, a class they&#8217;re teaching, a talk they&#8217;re giving, or an accomplishment of interest in qulting/fabric art world or their local community.  However, they may not know how best to word the releases nor where to send them.
Carolyn Howard-Johnson has become a promotional expert, learning by promoting her own books and classes.  Even though she&#8217;s not a quilt book writer, the tips she gives are valuable to anyone who uses media outlets.
