I shared with you guys yesterday the frozen rabbit meat that I bought at the Farmer’s Market, along with produce and goat meat. Now let me tell you how I cooked my first rabbit. To tell you the truth, I had no idea what I would do with it. The people I talked to at the Farmer’s Market said anything you could do with chicken, you can do with rabbit.

Make Easter Extra Personal

As a nice Jewish girl, I won’t actually be “celebrating” Easter beyond the requisite pink peeps – however, I am – and remain – a fan of bunny love, and can’t think of a better season to embrace it!

A Rabbit Named Cadbury
Britt was always finding new pets and this is one of the more unusual ones. He was a little bunny that simply loved our backyard. I guess that there lots of interesting places for him to hide and we could be out there and not even know that he was around… until we disturbed him.
But even being frightened off, didn’t seem to bother him. He was always back the next day! And then I found out why. He loved the leaves on my Corkscrew Hazel trees. And yes, she named him Cadbury!
