			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Over at my other b5media blog, <a href="http://www.treehuggingfamily.com">Tree Hugging Family</a>, Jennifer and I are counting down to Earth Day with several other blogs around the network. And, of course, Jennifer put me down this week for an Earth Day post here.</p>
<p>And that&#8217;s just fine. This is a green blog too, at least I hope you think so. One thing I&#8217;ve talked about over at Tree Hugging Family is <a href="http://www.treehuggingfamily.com/used-for-the-new-year">giving used finds as gifts</a>. If you take a bit of care and plan ahead, it&#8217;s possible to find the perfect used gift for that special friend or family member. Giving used or recycled saves resources, so it&#8217;s a very green thing to do.</p>
<p>At <a href="http://www.etsy.com">Etsy</a>, a source for homemade goods, you can also find many recycled goods for sale. Does that mean the goods are used? Not exactly. The creators repurposed items to make them into something new &#8212; like we tend to celebrate at this blog. Just type &#8220;recycled&#8221; in the search and you&#8217;ll find hundreds of items.<br />
