There are plenty of structures I’d like to travel to and view in person, but few of those fall under the heading, religious structures. Yeah, there are some very cool churches, they just don’t happen to be my thing. However, I’ve now decided that I must see the L’eglise St Etienne du Mont in Paris.

Really now, how many of your friends can say they live in a c.1880 church conversion? I bet not one. How unique would you be?
Pretty darn unique.
What’s really interesting is that the old school, or old church as the case may be, has been incorporated into the living space.

If it’s not the weirdest parish, it’s at least the most orange. I could only find a tiny photo, but maybe that’s for the best – it’s shocking even small.

St. Croix Lutheran High School Copper Chapel

I’m not usually drawn to chapels – they just aren’t my deal. However, the St. Croix Lutheran High School Chapel in West St. Paul, Minnesota is an exception. It’s simple, yet, lovely in form and shimmery with copper. I love how tight it is; mod but classic (if that makes sense). Just an overall beautiful chapel.
The chapel is actually an award winning design from Kodet Architectural Group.
