Did you know that tomorrow, August 6th, is National Root Beer Float Day? Leave it to Three Olives Vodka to start the party. Three-O actually just released a root beer flavored vodka. Wouldn’t it be apropos to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day with delicious drinks?
Three-O Root Beer Float
2 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
4 oz. root beer
Float 1 scoop vanilla ice cream on top
Root Beer Floatini
1.5 oz. Three Olives Root Beer Vodka
.5 oz. Amaretto liqueur
Shake hard over ice & strain into glass
Float a melon-ball size scoop of vanilla ice cream in center

A root beer float in the summertime is as much a staple as iced lemonade or popsicles to many people.
A root beer float is made with vanilla ice cream and, of course, root beer, and with the addition of some chocolate syrup it’s also known as a brown or black cow.
