What is Perinatal Encephalopathy?
Whether you are just entering the referral stage of Russian adoption or if you have already visited your little one/s and learned of this diagnosis on their medical record it can be a scary one. However, it does not have to be. It is well known in the Russian adoption medical field that this is a common medical diagnosis and that most of the children who have this on their medical record do very well and do not have a neurological problem.
What Time He was Born (and POA)
I have been notified that our Power of Attorney was officially registered in Guatemala (on the 28th…just under the gun), that they have completed blood testing (poor thing!), and I received a copy of his birth certificate just the other day (which states where he was born and what time).
And I remember, once again, that I still don’t know what time AJ was born.
Whew…that is a lot to download.
Now if I could only wrap my arms around the little man again. I think I will have to hug AJ just a tad tighter tonight.
