Dead space is a tiny, or not so tiny spot in your home that’s just sitting there, not being useful. Most people have lots of dead spaces, yet are always thinking, “Where can I put this?”
To use dead space:
Make a list: Trot around your house and make a list of dead spaces. Types of dead spaces include inside cabinet doors, above bookshelves, under tables, and some wall space.

If you’re dealing with more people than you have bathrooms, or maybe just too many people for too small a bathroom, then use these ideas to save on space.
Nothing in the tub, drawers, or on the counters: Give each family member a plastic or aluminum tote and let them carry their bathroom goodies back and fourth from their closet to the bath.
Hang towel racks over the backs of bedroom doors.

Well, I did it; transfered all my CDs and DVDs to disk folders. There were some pros to this solution for sure.
My DVDs and CDs collections have gone from massive piles to one nice tidy folder each.
I’ve saved loads of space.
My son seems to find it easier to put DVDs back into the folder than the cases.

I recently posted about ditching CD and DVD cases to save space. I mentioned that I was going to transfer all my discs into disc file folders. In the comments, someone asked where to find these folders, so I thought I’d show some examples.

I’m moving soon (in theory; I’m actually supposed to be looking at a place today) and have been thinking of dumping my CD cases. I don’t have too many CDs (I’m a vinyl girl) but I do have enough to make a mess of the shelf where I keep them.
