Charity Event To Benefit Scott Terrill’s Sons
As you know, I have been raising money for the late Scott Terrill’s sons. Scott, a season four Supernanny parent, passed away on July 4th, leaving behind two young sons. I have spoken with the boys’ mother and even though her and Scott were divorced, she has always been present in the boys’ lives. She will have custody of the boys and is going to remarry in the near future. Scott really loved the boys’ step dad to be and it seems that the boys are going to have the stability of a two parent home. This does my heart …read more
Donations For Scott’s Boys
Good morning. I hope that you all are having a relatively storm free Sunday. I just wanted to announce that we are still collecting donations for Scott Terrill’s sons, over at my personal blog. In order to encourage donations, Supernanny Jo Frost has graciously offered a one hour phone consultation to whomever donates the highest amount. Since this used to be the blog dedicated solely to Supernanny and her adoring fans, I wanted to make this information known to all of you. There is a Paypal button on the right side of my blog, under the picture of Scott. So …read more
Gifts Of Love For Scott Terrill’s Sons
I have decided to do the only thing I know of, to help the Terrill boys. I really wish that I could hug them and offer kind words, but I know that they will get plenty of that. So I decided with the help of some other Supernanny families, to set up a donation button, through Paypal. You can access it on my personal blog, or Christy Schrage’s personal blog. Any gifts are much appreciated and will be sent to Jo Frost, to pass on to the boys. I just feel in my heart, that we should do something to …read more
Lessons Derived From A Tragedy
I struggled with whether to post this glimpse of Scott Terrill’s life. I would hate for his family to think that I’m sensationalizing this whole ordeal and the pain that this family is going through, as a result. However, my heart feels the need to shed light on this subject as an example of what the feeling of hopelessness can lead to and the portrayal of people on reality television shows. Please take this post for what it truly is, a chance to educate people and bring hope out of an extremely tragic situation. My heart hurts for Scott and his …read more
In Memory Of James Scott Terrill
It is with a heavy heart that I report the news of James Scott Terrill’s passing. We received a comment, late July 4th, from a reader who informed us of Scott’s suicide. I would like to say that we have no confirmation that it was, indeed, a suicide. All that was found, regarding this tragedy, was an obituary from Georgetown News:
James Scott Terrill, age 37, died Friday, July 4, 2008, in Georgetown. He was born in Lexington on April 6, 1971, to Margaret Kenley Terrill Ng, of Georgetown, and the late Charles Ralph Terrill. He was a member of Safe Harbor …read more
