Scrapbook Project: Mia’s Exploding Box

As a mad cropper, you do get tired of creating layout after layout. Good to have a wee break from it and what could be a better break than a scrapbook project?
Mia’s Exploding Box is something I’d like to do when I get the chance. It’ll be nice to have an exploding box like this to put on my desk at work so that when I’m missing my baby, all I have to do is open the box and voila, I’ve got her beautiful photos to look at:-)

I was visiting my favourite scrapbook sites when I came across this great environmental-friendly (because she recycled one product to create another!) Valentine’s Day project form Scrapbooker’s Club House.
You want to know how the bags pictured above were made? From old envelopes bought from a local bookstore for $2 a bundle!
This project was created by Mary Chong! Good on her! If you want to know how she created these wonderful gift bags, click HERE.
The good thing about these bags is that they’re not just for Valentine’s Day, you need gift bags for any special occasion really!
Happy cropping!

This Monday’s Spotlight is on an innovative printing service, Moo.
Moo is a printing company. What’s so great about them is that you can print the images you’ve uploaded on any photo sites like Flickr, Facebook, etc or from your own computer.
I found out about Moo through a friend of mine and since then, my Husband and I have used their printing service for the Hubby’s business cards. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. They package your order really well too!
What I like about Moo products is that you can personalize your cards. You can choose which image goes where, …read more
Thursday Inspiration: Inspiration Journals by Donna Downey

I was going through my blog roll when I found myself drawn to Donna Downey’s inspiration journals. I like these kinds of things. As much as I enjoy bookmarking sites that I like on the web, there is something magical about having a physical place to keep things that inspire me whether they are newspaper clippings, sayings or quotes I read amidst the chaos of my daily activities.
What about you? Have you got a journal that holds things that inspire you?

Halloween is just around the corner and are you keen to add something special to your halloween decor? I picked up this idea from Making Memories from the Spellbound Collection and using Slice Cordless Design Digital Cutter. Happy decor making!
To create this project, do the following:
1. Cut a 8.5” x 8.5” piece of Making Memories’ Spellbound glitter dot black paper and use the Slice to cut a 3-inch pumpkin (from the Spellbound Design Card) on the bottom right corner. Fold the paper in half.
2. Cut a 4.25” x 8.5” piece of Making Memories’ Spellbound orange brocade paper and adhere it …read more
