We’re getting geared up for another big family scrapbooking day, so I’m thinking about ideas for layouts and am putting together more pages to just drop pictures into on our big day. Planning ahead of time like this can be really good, but it does have its drawbacks, too.

Uses for City Calendars

Do you ever get those “city calendars” delivered to your house? What I mean is, a calendar that has pictures or scenes from throughout your hometown. When we subscribed to the local paper we used to get one free. Then, when we bought our house our real estate agent started sending us one every year.

This Monday’s Spotlight is on an innovative printing service, Moo.
Moo is a printing company. What’s so great about them is that you can print the images you’ve uploaded on any photo sites like Flickr, Facebook, etc or from your own computer.

Here’s a fun way to glam up your scrapbook layout by using stickles!
Stickles: What is it?

Lisa Characters #16259
Art Warehouse Pink Argyle Paper #14584
Endearments Swatch Book Impress-Ons #14630
Mounting tape
Narrow black ribbon
Black acrylic paint
Silver pen
Exacto knife
Instructions
1. Paint a Diane Clothes Pin with black acrylic and let dry.
2. Cover Lisa Character letters spelling the word “love” with Pink Argyle Paper, using both sides of the paper. Trim the edges of the letters with an exacto knife.
3. Edge the letters with a silver pen.
4. Using Endearments Swatch Book Impress-Ons, apply text to the letters and white borders onto the clothespin, as shown.

Pink gingham ribbon
Scissors
Instructions
1. Cut a panel, slightly smaller, than a Tom Checkbook from Heart Text Paper. Remove calendar from checkbook cover.
2. Embellish the Heart Text Paper panel with Love Epoxy and Stencil Alphabet Gold Foil Stickers, as shown.
3. Slip the Heart Text panel and the calendar into the Tom Checkbook’s cover.
4. Wrap a length of pink gingham ribbon around the center of the checkbook and knot the ends. Tie …read more
