Chicago’s Sears Tower is now the Willis Tower

The 108-story Sears Tower has recently had its name changed, and it is now known as the Willis Tower. Chicago residents are not alone in struggling to remember the name change, and I have a feeling that it may take a generation or so before the new name sticks.

Going Orange for Animals

Starting April 7, you’ll see more orange around.
The Empire State Building, Sears Tower and Niagara Falls will all support ASPCA’s Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month by lighting up to mark “Go Orange for Animals.” Sounds really beautiful!
To show your support, you can purchase ASPCA’s Go Orange Kit (pictured and now on sale for $19.99). It includes a t-shirt, bandana and five orange wristbands.
