When I think of Spring Break week I traditionally think of being able to take a break from teaching or from school. This week AJ is in on Spring Break from School and is attending a Special Needs Camp, which he absolutely loves but me? I am running around trying to get things accomplished that I never get done when he is in school (because camp runs longer than his normal school day).

This week I am working on getting estimates on kitchen cabinets, hardwood floors, and countertops so that we can update our entire first floor and make it safe for AJ and the Bebe (anyone know any wholesalers in the Chicago suburbs?), I have two doctor appointments (maybe three), we have a follow-up psych appointment, a respite interview (finally), and a trip downtown Chicago to the Secretary of State and the Guatemalan Consulate (making sure to have a money order and USPS overnight return mailer) to get our DNA papers sealed and sent back to our agency.

Whew, is that it?

Nope…I put a call into Pfeiffer Treatment Center again because AJ seems to be having trouble with his yeast again…

I don’t know but I would much rather be doing this.
