Falling in love and dating has never made much sense. In fact, if it did, there would be hundreds of authors, therapists and matchmaking businesses out of work.
The picky dater is big business and it’s my personal belief that those who are profiting from those picksters are playing up that whole “soulmate” theory as much as possible.
From compatibility matches to practically being able to build your own Weird Science kind of model – being picky is a growing issue.

Are women more shallow than men?

According to a speed-dating experiment at Edinburgh International Science Festival, many women take about half a minute to make up their minds about a potential partner.
Following tests involving 500 `dates’. The findings revealed that women were twice as likely to make up their minds about the opposite sex than men.
According to the professor that was behind this study, men are often characterized as being shallow and tend to judge women too quickly. However, this particular study indicates that this particular common belief may be way off base – and that in reality; women are shallower and judge more quickly.
