Shia Labeouf has told Parade magazine that he actually saw his parents having sex and believes it made him a better actor. Now, as far as I know, my children have never walked in or seen us having sex. I cannot say that about my own childhood and I think many others are in my shoes. How many of you can remember walking in on your parents? Something tells me it was a quick escape and something never mentioned right?

I just got back from watching the new Transformers movie with 3 boys – all age 11 – for my son’s birthday. So, what did I think? Well, it is definitely a BOY movie. And it earned every bit of its PG-13 rating. In other words, I urge you NOT to take your 7 year old to this film!
Things I liked:

The look on my son’s face! He and his friends were truly entranced in this movie and based on when they laughed, the boy jokes were well placed.
