I decided to let ya’ll know that you should ALWAYS make sure your records are up-to-date. Now yes, I know many of you are going to say that you know but even Ihought I knew this one. However, after getting shots just last week, the school called about BabyGirl not having one shot. The shot is Polio and I knew for a fact she got that shot along with three others just last week, however the nurse forgot to mark it on the records.

BabyGirl got her shots today and she took it all in stride, to be honest I was very worried about this with her. As ya’ll know the last time she got her shots the nurse accidentally broke the thing andhe needle was left in her arm and the syringe sprayed everything. Needless to say there was a bunch of blood and it looked scarier than it was, however it left an impression. “You feed your kids rubbish – that’s what most people think. It’s ignorance and it’s understandable, but it’s quite hurtful. Having Type-1 diabetes has got nothing to do with diet. We don’t have a family history of diabetes – there’s no rhyme or reason why he got it.”
