It’s that time of the month again!
For my springtime project I’ve been working on spring cleaning Not as much fun as making embroidered flowers or little felt chicks & ducks – but satisfying all the same!
I tend to be a very visual person & when I’m working, this is what my desk looks like:
Ever so often I need to take a good hard look & see what I’m actually using & what can be filed away. So that’s my “before” photo… I’ll post my “after” photo soon

Let’s see what everyone else in Art & Design has been working on for Springtime!

Noreen at www.hankeringforyarn.com has been making a series of handmade,
handbound journals and notebooks with wonderful knitted, crocheted and
woven covers. To celebrate springtime (and to honor Earthday on April 22,
the books use recycled paper) she has designed a dancing bunny for the
latest handmade journal . See it here, and see how simple it is to make one
of a kind, totally unique handmade journals and notebooks!

Tammy over at Jewelry & Beading has created a lovely beaded flower:

Bead Your Own Flowers
http://www.jewelryandbeading.com/200…r-own-flowers/
Even if spring hasn’t made it to your neck of the wood yet, you can create your own spring by making beaded flowers. Jewelry and Beading has a super easy beaded flower project using brick stitch.

Cyndi at Layers Upon Layers has made a lovely fabric trim frame:

http://www.layersuponlayers.com/making-a-painted-fabric-trim-frame/

Gather your leftover pieces of fabric trims and bric-a-brac. And don’t forget the ric-rac. Layers Upon Layers shows you how to turn them into a frame for a favorite spring picture.

Mary Emma from Quilting & Patchwork thoughts turn to Quilting in the Garden, floral patterns and other spring inspired ideas for the Spring Showcase:

Have fun & enjoy Springtime!
