Watch Felix Baumgartner Complete The First-Ever Skydive From Space; Get Inspired

Felix Baumgartner made the world’s first-ever skydive from space yesterday, becoming the first person to ever break the sound barrier outside of an aircraft (which means he was free falling at 834 miles per hour, or Mach 1.24). The 43-year-old Austrian pilot is also a skydiver and BASE jumper, so he’s no stranger to doing stuff that would make most of us huddle in a corner and cry, but his jump yesterday induced tears of astonishment and inspiration for many. Even if you get more panicked than thrilled by watching someone skydive or bungee jump, you should watch Felix’s jump.
