<p>This is small project I came up with, just to amuse myself.  It&#8217;s also a perect size to carry with in you in the car or to do while you&#8217;re watching tv.  I cut one long rectangular strip of felt (abur 2.5&#8243; X 8&#8243;) and trimmed the edges with my pinking shears.</p>
<p>I cut out two small flowers from felt &amp; stitched them together using a series of  short running stitches.  I think french knots would be a pretty alternative.</p>
<p>The felt flower got stitched to the front &amp; I then hand-stitched the sides closed using more embroidery floss.  I used two contrasting colours of embroidery floss to make the draw-string.</p>
