We’re right in the thick of football season, and baseball season is coming to a close, so it’s the perfect time to get some delicious snacking in (and what better excuse?).
Nachos seem to be the penultimate sports-watching snack. Pretty much the only constant are tortilla chips and cheese, with other toppings ranging from beans, chili, chiles, sour cream, tomatoes, quacamole — the list goes on! Low-Cal, High-Protein Breakfast or Snack

Need a quick pick-me-up? Try fat-free or low-fat cottage cheese with some crushed pineapple. You get your calcium, protein, and vitamin C all in one tasty shot! It’s cheap, easy, and OH so delicious.

Another Scrumptious Snack (one a little more grown-up)

Hubby and I had an early dinner, so I got hungry again before bedtime. Rather than heating up some leftovers that I wouldn’t enjoy anyway, I decided to try something else:
1 granny smith apple, sliced into wedges
8 small, apple-wedge-sized slices of sharp Cabot cheddar cheese
1 glass of Yellow Tail chardonnay
Mmm-mmm-MMM. Try it this week.
