You’ve got chocolates in the refrigerator and bananas on the kitchen counter. It doesn’t take a genius to know that chocolates and bananas go wonderfully together! Here are some dish ideas with some chocolate-and-banana love!

Oreos and Bananas. Grab a glass and layer in the following order: 1 Oreo, sliced bananas, nuts, whipped cream. Repeat layering till glass is almost full. Top with more nuts and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Chocolate Banana Pops. Dip a peeled banana in melted chocolate. Roll in crushed cornflakes. Wrap in foil and freeze overnight.

Today, October 1st, is the first day of  Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every year I seek out the little pink-ribboned products to due my part to help support the cause.

I was lucky to be offered the chance to try some new snack packs of organic dried fruit by Explorer’s Bounty recently.  I know what you’re thinking…banana chips are banana chips…but you’d be WRONG!  These are puffed, making them extra crunchy fun to eat, and the flavor of all the snacks I tried is just great.

I like pork rinds, you like pork rinds, who doesn’t like pork rinds? The best pork rinds are the ones in hugs bags. Or the ones from the butcher place. Don’t get the small bags with shiny packaging from grocery stores.
