Help, I Can’t Twitter!

Twitter and Facebook hit a major snafu today, and it reminded me of how much I now rely on them for communication. Both applications have become a mainstay in my daily life for both ways to promote my writing and network with other writers. But since I work at home, they are also a great way to stay in touch in people. Working at home is great but when it’s just “you” alone all day sometimes it can get lonely.

It all started out with the old fashioned classifieds you’d see on newspapers then came personal ads on magazines. Two people would start corresponding through letters as “penpals”.
