I hope you followed the 2007 Advent Calendar generously created and provided by Heather Blakey in the lead up to Christmas. The calendar ends with Christmas Day, but don’t hesitate to go looking over there for journal writing material. If you’ve only just begun holidays you might like to look through the 25 days worth of prompts & exercises just to see what there is. It’s too wonderful a resource to leave unnoticed. I’m writing this to let you know I’m really sorry about not writing a Freaky Friday entry yesterday. Things were out of my hands, though. Somebody was driving down a road not far from here and somehow collided with one of the power poles. We heard a loud bang and the power went out. That was some time yesterday. I didn’t find out the reason for some time, though or what happened to the driver of the car.
Without power there wasn’t much I could do, so I got roped into helping someone with a problem all afternoon instead. By the …read more
