Robin needs your help, inspiration and enthusiasm to promote her amazing stamps on forums, Rubber Romance’s blog and your personal blogs. We are looking for 5 rubber stamping artists. This call is open to anyone in North America, with or without experience.

To apply, please send your submission by August 10th 2009, at midnight eastern time. New members will be contacted by August 15th. This term will run for 6 months from September 1st 2009 – February 28th 2010.Please send an email containing the following to: rubberromance@gmail.com

8. Tell us about yourself in a few sentences. Where you passions lie, what your favorite project have been, how long you have been stamping – stuff like that.
9. Let us know if you are a current or past design team member for other companies. (We do not expect you to work only for us).

Design Team Expectations
1. Complete 4 projects per month with your Rubber Romance stamps. Originals may be requested by Robin for tradeshows. We are looking for a variety of projects. A maximum of 2 per month can be cards.
2. Promote Rubber Romance on your blog and forums you frequent.
3. Complete one tutorial a month featuring the stamps, which will be featured on the RR blog.

Rubber Romance Design Team Call

Here is another of the fabrics that I painted a few weeks ago (back when I inexplicably had some time on my hands!).  This one is a little more complex than the last two, but it’s not at all difficult.  To prepare for the tutorial tomorrow, gather up some plain muslin, acrylic paints, a stamp or two if you want, and tape: masking tape, electrical tape, graphic arts tape…anything that’s a bit low tack.  Don’t use duct tape for this project!

Wiped and striped. Fabric, that is.

This project is very easy. You will need cardstock in white, an Easter stamp (any kind), craft scissors, Easter grass, a few jelly beans, and a baggie with tie. Make your stamp on a piece of cardstock, then cut around it with the craft scissors. Put the piece of cardstock in the baggie along with a few bits of Easter grass and a couple jelly beans. Seal with the tie.

Use a padded envelope to send this “greeting” to anyone you’d normally send Easter cards to. You can even write on the back if you’d like. Or, if you’d prefer, use the bags as part of a table decoration. Put one on everyone’s plate before you sit down to dinner.

Easter Card Basket

There’s a shout out to all interested scrappers out there to submit their work to Paper Crafts Magazine

Paper Crafts magazine is looking for fresh, fun, paper-based projects that are innovative and in sync with today’s trends. We’re interested in a variety of items including but not limited to: handmade greeting cards; journal covers; gifts and home accents such as boxes, frames, wall art, shadow boxes, paper jewelry, and decoupaged items; party invitations and decor. We’re looking for all kinds of embellishments and techniques such as stamping, embossing (dry, wet, metal and UTEE), watercoloring, pop-up and interactive designs, cast and handmade paper, shaker boxes, beading, sewing on paper, wire, the sky’s the limit! If you have an original project that has never been published and is copyright free (that does not use someone else’s pattern or other intellectual property), consider submitting it for publication.

You can send in projects for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, call for stampers and others!
