Now I’m not a stepparent so I can’t really tell you all the rules that go with being one. Gisele Bundchen, you know the supermodel that’s been
with Tom Brady for two years now has finally made statements about his son, John Edward that he had with Bridget Moynahan. From my understandings, many believe she was in the wrong when she made the following comment to the press.
“I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that. But to me, it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent.”

Our Traditional New Year’s Eve Family Party

New Year’s Eve we always have all of our kids — the other parents involved always prefer to “party” rather than be “saddled” with the kids. I’m not complaining because we finally have a tradition we do not need to negotiate having the children for. The only thing which stands in our way is the date school starts which may force us to be on the road bringing a child back in time. This year we are lucky; all the kids return to school on the 5th, and so we can have our family New Year’s Eve bash.

Step-Parenting: Bitch, Bitch, Bitching About Iguanas Eating Better Than Your Kids

Hubby’s ex (let’s call her Diane) has not paid child support for her two kids who live with us in four years. (She has another child with another man — conceived during hubby’s marriage with her — who lives with her.)
While the state child support agency has hauled her in several times, including investigating claims of (a faked) disability, no money has arrived — and the stories of purchases made in that home make me want to spit.
