This time of the year I’m freezing the last remnants of my garden. I still have some tomatoes, peppers, squash, and cabbage growing in my garden. One thing I say I’m going to buy every year is a vacuum seal system to use when I’m freezing my fruits and vegetables.
I’ve been looking at the FoodSaver® Vacuum Sealing System with SmartSeal™ Technology. It sounds fairly technical, but looks fairly easy to use. I think it would also be great to use when I try to do once a month cooking and put some extra meals in the freezer for later.

Tidy Tuesday – Clean the Pantry for a Move

So, once you commit to getting your kitchen remodeled, you suddenly realize that there is a lot of prep work involved. One of the biggest chores is probably sorting and packing your pantry. For this week’s Tidy Tuesday, I am involved in helping someone else do exactly that.
First up was going through every item and sorting it into one of three piles:

Water Wonders Fish Tank Review

I’ve been using the Tetra Water Wonders 1.5 gallon aquarium for a single Betta for almost a month now. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. I paid around $23 for it at Target, but it’s available at other retailers as well.
I’ll cover the annoying stuff first.
Dislikes/Considerations:
Part of the promised goods were missing. The box says the kit comes with water conditioner and fish food. Those two things were missing from mine.
