Angelique from Breaking the Mirror tagged me. The tag, just to be clear, is 7 random things about me.
Angelique knows I hate tags and memes, but I think she thought she could get me anyhow. Turns out she could. She has this killer personal blog, Recess for Writers that I used to visit a lot, but I’ve been so busy lately, that I’ve barely gone by. She’s always been a nice Offbeat follower and even comes by my personal blog. Does the guilt start to eat at me? Yeah it does.

Angelique from Breaking the Mirror tagged me. The tag, just to be clear, is 7 random things about me. <o></o>

I’m thinking I can’t get out of this. <o></o>

I’m also thinking that I can just copy her meme. It’s not like she had no clue I hate these things. So, I copied Angelique’s meme and I’ll counter post my opinions on her life facts. (Take that Angelique). I posted Angelique’s random facts in bold and my counter facts are below in non-bold. <o></o>

1. A series of chicken pox scars on my body (I’ll never tell you where!) look a bit like the constellation The Big Dipper.<o></o>

I have no chicken pox scars – but I did have shingles, caused by chicken pox once and I guess only 10% of people who get it are under the age of 80 – so I’m rare. <o></o>

2. I would love to do an Eco-Challenge some day. (These are typically weeklong ultra-marathon/survival games.) I don’t think I’d really do it, of course, but a little part of me just cries out for adventure.<o></o>

Um, I’d watch an eco-challenge. <o></o>

3. I hate airplanes. I call them “flying coffins”. But I’ll still get in one to see the world if given the opportunity.<o></o>

I don’t mind flying but bridges totally freak me out – not to see but to drive across. I keep thinking, this will be the bridge that someone screwed up the bolts on. <o></o>

4. I craved carrot cake for part of my pregnancy, but never found a slice that looked perfect enough to eat. Therefore, my craving went unanswered for several months as I hunted for the elusive sweet treat.<o></o>

I wanted meat during my pregnancy – the whole pregnancy. And I’m a vegetarian. I never ate it, but boy did I want to. <o></o>

5. I’m a Sagittarius and I believe that your astrological sign has some small purpose in your life. <o></o>

This is why I like Angelique I think. We’re both Sags and have some odd stuff in common. Plus Sags rule over all other signs. I also believe that your sign can affect your life. <o></o>

6. I think men in suits are sexy. Love the professional look. <o></o>

No. I think guys with long hair and ultra casual clothes are way better. Suits. No. <o></o>

7. Jim Furyk (the golfer) turns me on. My husband knows it and is cool with my strange obsession. (He’s digging Shannon Elizabeth… I can’t blame him…)<o></o>

I pretty much hate all organized sports and have no clue who this Jim fellow is. I did however play miniature golf once, and I took everyone to the cleaners. The one time I played. It was a short lived, yet, highly successful golf career. <o></o>

Now I’m supposed to tag 7 people which makes me nuts. I’ll tag some people. If I tag you, you have to link back to this post, post the rules at your own blog, and tag 7 other people. Oh, and tell these 7 people at their blogs that you tagged them. Who knows if I’ll make it to that step or not. <o></o>

I’m tagging: <o></o>

Peggy at Junk Creation because she has parties with straw containers. <o></o>

Kori at The Fantasy Kickoff because I like sports so much. Actually Kori’s way cool too. <o></o>

Zach at High Def Delight because no one tweets funnier than him. Also he has ladybug issues which is just so weird, and totally appropriate for Offbeat. <o></o>

Liberty at Teen Style Lounge because I haven’t emailed in some nine odd days straight, and that’s just so sad. <o></o>

Deb at Network Blogging Tips because I blog there too and you should visit. <o></o>

Um, two more. I can’t. I already feel bad about tagging the poor folks above. I’m done.

You should visit at least on of Angelique’s blogs though. She’s a great blogger, smart, real, and funny. The perfect combination for a blogger. Her blogs are:
