Healthology is one of the many health-related resources on the Internet. It’s also one of the good ones. That’s why I’m glad to tell you about this video, called What is Chronic Pain? that is hosted on their site. In the video, doctors who work with patients who have chronic pain discuss how many patients, particularly the older ones, don’t talk about their pain to their doctors. Talking to your doctor about pain

Pain is a very personal thing and sometimes it’s not easy to discuss this with a doctor or nurse. There are different reasons for that – you may feel that your doctor doesn’t believe you or feels you are whining, you may forget everything you wanted to talk about when you finally do speak with your doctor, or you just may be reluctant or unsure of how to help your doctor understand your problem.
