In my neck of the woods a lot of teens get work in fast food restaurants, at the local grocery stores or retail at the mall. Another big summer job is detasseling, although I’ve heard some not too nice accounts of detasseling summer jobs. It is a lot of work.

Summer Jobs For Tweens

Teens are starting to think about what job they will be working at for the summer. They may already have applications turned in and already had their first interview. They may be going back to the same place they worked last summer. Or they may be going full-time at the part-time job they’ve been working at all school year.
