Farmer Brown Shears His Sheep (A Yarn About Wool) is written by Teri Sloat and illustrated by Nadine Bernard Westcott.  My 3-year old daughter loves sheep, so it’s not surprising she picks this book out at the library every week!  However, there is more to appeal to kids about this book than just sheep.

First there are the colorful illustrations, which hold even the smallest children’s attention.  Next, there is the incredible rhyming text that reads like a song that is sure to get kids and parents hooked on this story. Read more
