Equinox gyms are getting heat for their first ad campaign of the year, from its own members who think the images, shot by Terry Richardson, are degrading and promote an unhealthy example for women. The models are highly sexualized, as you’d expect from Richardson, but what’s making members most upset is the fact that they’re all so thin. The campaign entitled, “It’s Not Fitness, It’s Life” certainly promotes anything but fitness.
