In Wiltshire, you would be able to find its residents working on recycling. And yes, they are recycling cartons of Tetra Pak. This kind of recycling program has been made possible by the collaboration of the Wiltshire County Council, Tetra Pak Ltd., the Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment, and Hills Waste Solutions.

So how does the whole scheme go? Well, see, residents of Wiltshire could bring in their Tetra Pak cartons to the group’s chosen recycling centers. Of course, the residents would have to make sure that the Tetra Pak cartons that they would be bringing in for recycling would have already been “washed and squashed”.

“People in Wiltshire are always looking at how they can recycle more and I’m delighted that we can give them these new facilities,” shares Andy Conn who is the waste services manager of the Wiltshire County Council.

Indeed, this is a really good scheme. I wonder if there would be others like this around.
