Texarkana College is getting involved with Locks of Love. CBS News 8 reports that more than 30 people lined up Monday night to donate their hair in conjunction with an upcoming play about a professor who has ovarian cancer. Clint Williams, a student representative said, “The upcoming show is ‘W;t,’ about an ovarian cancer patient. She’s coming to terms with her death. We figured what better way to publicize the show.” The show runs 2-4 and 9-11 February.
Both young and old participated, and more than 30 stylists were on hand to trim tresses.
