The Garden: A Community Garden Documentary

It’s not often you see entire documentaries surrounding gardening, let alone a movie that covers politics, community gardening, and activism all rolled into one. However, “The Garden,” offers this and according to Grist, it’s a must see, in spite of some issues, and a Grist recommendation is good enough for me. This film was also nominated for an Oscar and has won plenty of other awards.

Congratulations Stump!

The best in show winner from the Westminster Kennel Club dog show has been decided and “Stump” a ten year old Sussex spaniel has come out on top!

Stump is the oldest dog to win the best in show title at the Garden and in fact, came out of retirement to do so. That’s quite an accomplishment for a dog at any age – but for a 10 year old, that’s amazing!
