If those aren’t your style, I understand. They are rather funky. But I think you can’t lose with the recycled tree pendant below.

It’s made from American black walnut that’s reclaimed from the furniture industry. This great find is available from the very cool Indie Fixx Shop.

According to eco-artware.com, this recycled tire vase “doesn’t smell at all like rubber.”

That’s one hurdle. But what would Mom think of this vase? I dig on it, but seriously doubt my mom would like it.
The tire vase is made of the inner tube of a motorcycle tire, and it stands on its own without a framework. It may also be used as an office organizer.
