Poor Transylvania. It gets such a bad rap as a result of its place in literature (home to Count Dracula and a prominent location in the horror genre), and the reality is that it’s a perfectly lovely region in Romania.
Still, I can’t blame them for wanting to capitalize on their literary heritage during the Halloween season, with special tours and events that capture the unique flavor of the season and the location. Planning an Arts & Crafts Tour

As you plan your schedule for summer vacation, incorporate visits to arts and craft shows and shops. Quilters and fabric artists do this regularly. My daughter and her friends enjoy these forays to gather new ideas and meet other fabric artists. Of course, lunch at a new location is added pleasure to the trip.

Show Me the Money!

Since I don’t have a money tree growing in my backyard, a visit to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing is the closest I’m going to get to the source of money. They’ve even named their website Money Factory.
The “money factory” is located in Washington DC and Fort Worth, Texas, and it’s here that all the Federal Reserve notes are printed. They also engrave all the White House invitations, and print other security documents. These are the folks that really can show you the money.
