It’s no secret that I love making treats and snacks myself for my dogs. I love knowing exactly what’s going into the treats, and by adding certain things that I know my dogs love, I know they won’t go to waste either.

Are you looking for a heart-healthy snack? This homemade snack mix is the perfect substitute for chips or other store-bought snack mixes. It’s great to munch on at your desk at work, or a terrific party mix when you are having friends over to watch the game. I tried it this weekend and it was perfect – sweet but not too sweet.
Serves 10; 1/2 cup per serving
