My twins turned 9 over a week ago. Their birthday was on a Saturday, but we had family in town and lots of activities going on that weekend so we couldn’t plan a party. On Sunday we hosted my daughter’s 9th birthday party for her friends. The theme was make your own pizza and sundaes. While a birthday party on a budget was not the original plan, the whole thing ended up being pretty inexpensive AND fun. Luckily the weather was perfect and we had the entire party outdoors.

Yesterday my daughter was a guest at her friend’s 10th birthday – let’s call her Annie. Annie and her Mom decided to have a French Dinner Party as her theme.
The invitations were cute – they were simple postcards made on the computer with the Paris skyline and all the party details. The invitations requested that the girls dress up and bring a something “French” for a game.
