June 27 is Veterans Day in the UK. Similar to Veteran’s Day in the United States, this public holiday honors the men and women that have served and are serving in Britain’s military forces.A variety of parades, fireworks displays, races, and military displays are going on today throughout England, Scotland, and Wales.
