I could start the day by whining about HP customer service (because they are royally p@#%ing me off this morning) however, it might be more fun to look at a cool new blog; don’t you agree?
Check this find out…
Ah beauty. I LOVE it. Click on the image to learn more. This is just the kind of thing Just Seen is serving up for modern design loving folks. Although they’re new, Just Seen has already posted some pretty cool stuff. Stuff such as…
Modern Ceramic Tiles - really cool ones.
AND can you even guess what this is…
All of the above posts are way worth a look - some surprising items to see. I’d also hit their parent site, Furniture Seen, which I had not seen, but am now super glad I have.
Now wasn’t that so much better than a random HP rant. Although, I am really fed up with them. You’d think someone there might have a clue about printers. Sad, sooooo, so sad.

Kooky posh kid furnishings

When I’ve visited Posh Tots in the past (for a baby blog I write), I’ve seen some pretty amazing and luxurious furniture for both baby and child. However, I recently realized that beyond beauty and delicate rich patterns, Posh Tots carries some amazingly offbeat furniture. Perfect for offbeat kiddos.
For example, the Boom Cabinet, of which I’ve seen items like, but never its exact equal. What kid wouldn’t be thrilled to have this - and by the way the exploding parts attach to the wall and do actually work as drawers.

So cool; no? Want to see more?

Parenting Those Offbeat Teens & Tweens

This May the entire Lifestyles Channel has been doing a month long theme event called “Three Doors Down.” The idea; sort of a meet & greet (and introduction) deal among blogs in our b5media channel. So far I’ve written introduction posts for three new blogs:
- Architecture for bad parents???
- Offbeat Play Structures for Your Unique Child
- True or false: It’s better to be psycho for houses or psycho for love?
Today, the last of my Three Doors Down - Parenting Tweens & Teens.
If you need some realistic teen and tween parenting advice, Charlene and Christine have got you covered. Check out:
- 10 Summer Jobs Your Teen May Not Have Considered
- Paying For Grades
- Ford’s Driving Skills For Life
- Help! I Hate My Teen’s Friends
- And more.
Now, the offbeat parenting guide: if you’re a parent of teens (or a tween) some space is usually helpful. I’m not talking McMansion-like space, but some is a good plan. From an Offbeat perspective, maybe something a little like the cool Maritime Youth House would work for you.

The kids can go hang; get some energy out… that’s a good deal.
Another thing you’ll need - as an offbeat parent of an offbeat tween or teen is some fly furniture. Read not boring.

This now concludes our look at some of my neighboring blogs:
Take some time and visit one or two of them in June.
