While it’s not hurting with the sharp severity of before, it’s very achy and sore from time to time – and it’s more than just my neck, it’s gone down my spine to the upper back. I noticed it on Friday, in particular, because I played hooky from working and spent the day out with a friend. Now, normally my day consists of working sprinkled with a nap and a few short sessions of lying on the couch and reading or something like that. Because I was out all day on Friday, I didn’t get that rest.

Not getting that rest made my upper back ache to the point that I did start to worry. I’m keeping a close watch to make sure I don’t develop any symptoms of problem from the nerves. I still like to hope that it was just a bad stretch and is still healing and don’t want to worry that it’s anything more serious.

I sure hope this is not part of getting older! I’m only going to be 47 in May, still the prime of my life….. right?
