Coming up next, I’ll post an interview with a woman who is being treated with VNS Therapy, but first I want to explain what this therapy is all about.
VNS Therapy (vagus nerve stimulation) is an FDA-approved adjunctive therapy for reducing the frequency of seizures in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age with partial onset seizures resistant to antiepileptic medications. In addition to treating epilepsy, VNS Therapy may also be used for treatment-resistant depression.
