I hope you enjoy this day of hearts. May it be filled with as much romance as the day can allow. I reckon being sickly sweet and romantic for a day out of 365 days is good enough excuse for most who normally aren’t. Hehe.

When looking for love online, eight out of 10 people lie about their appearance by making themselves an inch or so taller or trimming a few pounds, according to a survey of Internet daters.
Over half of the men questioned, or 52.6 percent, made themselves taller while 39 percent of women claimed greater height.
Women more commonly trimmed their weight to make themselves more appealing, with 64.1 percent of women registering a false weight compared to 60.5 percent of men.
When it came to age, 24.3 percent of the men were untruthful, compared with 13.1 percent of the women.

It’s that time of the year when we’ll hear the words “cupid”, “heart”, “love”, “roses”, “arrows”, etc. — it’s February and it’s the month for the lovers.
Gift-giving between partners have become a custom. For the romantics, their options are cards, chocolate and flowers. For the, er, less romantic (I’m staying neutral on this issue) here are my gift ideas to capture their hearts come Valentine’s Day.

According to a recent survey I read, younger daters are more likely to reassess their dating life on Valentine’s Day.  I always thought it had something to do with Spring being just around the corner, but certainly, I could see the ‘most romantic day of the year’ prompting a deep emotional housecleaning and emotional tuneup.
This same survey reveals that daters in their 20’s and 30’s are more likely to do their emotional tuneup and relationship reassessment during the summer months.
