How long has it been since you had a glass of vegetable juice?
Many of us don’t get the recommended daily servings of vegetables in our diets. Two new studies, presented at the International Symposium on Human Health Effects of Fruits and Vegetables, show that the convenience and enjoyment of vegetable juice are crucial to their success in helping people get their daily recommended servings of vegetables.

Essential Antioxidants V8 Juice
I was over at the V8 website because I wanted to check which vegetables the “8″ stands for (tomatoes, carrots, celery, beets, parsley, lettuce, watercress and spinach , if you must know), and noticed that they’ve renamed the A-C-E Vitamin Rich V8 to Essential Antioxidants V8 Vegetable Juice.
A-C-E is out. Antioxidants is in. Even if they are one and the same.
Plus points to their marketing staff. (rolls eyes)

Drink Your Vegetables
According to the latest American food guide pyramid, you should consume at least 7-9 servings of vegetables per day. Holy macaroni, I don’t think I eat 7-9 servings of anything, much less vegetables!
