Natural Vegan Skincare For People On the Go

Update Your Winter Wardrobe With Vegan Boots

I had the opportunity to try a Candlevida SpaVida Cool Citrus Basil Soy Candle last night.

It’s a lovely-smelling candle that is poured into a glass container that I feel is very unique. It’s a frosty sage green and it has a silvered inside. There cut-outs in the green that make patterns on the side, so that when it’s lit, the cut-outs are clearly visible. It’s very pretty. I took a photo to try to show you what I’m talking about.

Designers such as Stella McCartney are bringing vegan style to the masses, trying to appeal to more than just hard-core vegans. The movement can be seen in both high-end and low-end brands.

Six months ago Denise Mari opened Organic Avenue on the Lower East Side. “At one time being vegan meant focusing on what you had to give up,” she said. “Today we’re stepping beyond the mundane what-you-need-to-survive approach” and concentrating instead on “how to make this a fun lifestyle that other people can relate to.”

Why, that’s exactly what I’m trying to do with my vegan diet! But please note, you will not see me buying $700 cruelty-free-silk suits any time soon. I have a feeling I’ll never be able to relate to that.
