Today is Friday and that means it’s Freaky Friday. If you need to know more about this journal writing challenge please read the First Freaky Friday entry.
With all the prompts about collage I felt another for Freaky Friday might be good. Here are some suggestions. You could reread your journal looking for Freaky Friday prompts you have previously responded to and make a collage about them. Or respond to any of them using collage only. You could create a collage journal entry with no words at all. You could decide what FRIDAY means as an acrostic and find an image [...]
Post from: Blisstree

You could decide what FRIDAY means as an acrostic and find an image for each letter. Those are just some ideas I made up just now.

I hope you enjoy this journal writing challenge. The purpose of the Freaky Friday challenges is to see your life from a different perspective. Please leave any comments in the section below.

I promised to give you a collage prompt every day this week. Using the word Friday as the prompt collect images of the word Friday, and other words you associate with Friday. Also several images of what Friday means to you.
If you like add one word from the list below to make your visual journal session even more challenging. Be aware that the word Friday could bring up all kinds of images for you. While you’re collecting your images don’t censor yourself. Just allow whatever draws you to end up in your pile of collage material.

List of extra words:
debate
willing
coping
final
break
green
pink
measure
dent
express

Use either a prepared background page from your journal, or a blank piece of paper you can later glue into your journal. Cut or tear around the edges of the images and words. Arrange them in a way that pleases you. Don’t spend a long time worrying about it, though. Just play with the pieces, glue and push them onto the page. Use paint, pens or whatever you feel like to add colour, more words, or other images you just couldn’t find in your search to complete you collage.

Magazines are a great resource for collage materials, but search online for images you can use, too. Remember to have lots of fun. Relax and enjoy this visual journal writing prompt. Look for ways to make the days different. Focus on what is unique about each day of the week for you. Please leave any comments in the section below.

I promised to give you a collage prompt every day this week. Using the word Wednesday as the prompt collect images of the word Wednesday, and other words you associate with Wednesday. Also several images of what Wednesday means to you.

If you like add one word from the list below to make your visual journal session even more challenging. Be aware that the word Wednesday could bring up all kinds of images for you. While you’re collecting your images don’t censor yourself. Just allow whatever draws you to end up in your pile of collage material.

List of extra words:
red
grey
birds
sand
sweet
salty
sipping
bright
baby
glue
