Sami Donates Hair, Too

OK, let’s do a Monday Afternoon Warm Fuzzy, too. It is the Easter season, and that’s enough reason for me so celebrate acts of kindness and generosity… especially acts performed by kids. Here’s an article from the OC Register about Sami:
Seven-year-old Sami Kreeger bounced up and down in the oversized chair, smiling from ear to ear. She had waited for this day for more than two years.
Then, with two quick snips it was over, and a foot of Sami’s waist-long hair was gone.
She gasped, burst into laughter, and beamed at her mom, grandma and grandpa.
“That felt good,” she giggled.

Monday Morning Warm Fuzzy

Here’s a story from my neck of the woods about Victoria, a kindergartner who recently donated her hair to Locks of Love. From the Times Community Newspapers of Greater Dayton:
The preschooler was curious and questioned her father. Later, at the ripe old age of four, Victoria made the decision to grow her hair longer for the organization.
“I’m going to donate my hair,” Victoria said a few days before her haircut. “I think it will be a good experience. Those kids that don’t have hair, they have to take medicine that makes the hair fall out. …read more
