For Your Health – Zola Acai Wellness Shots

Awhile back I wrote about Zola Brazilian Superfruit Juice Drinks. My family tried a variety of the juices that included Acai, Energy Smoothie, Antioxidant Smoothie, and their Immunity Smoothie.
I liked the drinks, once I got used to the tang of Acai. It tastes like a combination between grape and cranberry, but stronger and thicker. Acai is a superfruit and very high in antioxidants and vitamins.
I’ve been using their new Daily Wellness Shot for a couple of weeks now. One shot – a 1 ounce serving – contains 100% of the recommended daily amount of ORAC. ORAC helps to protect the …read more
Zestra Helps Women Find Sexual Satisfaction

Women are complicated sexual beings. As the topic of women’s health and sexuality has grown in interest over the last ten years, so have studies to discover ways to increase sexual satisfaction in women. I am excited to see women and doctors talking about this subject and openly addressing the idea that women might need to work a little harder to be sexually satisfied.
Zestra is a new product made from natural botanical oils that is applied on a woman’s body to increase sexual satisfaction. I wanted to hear a little more about how Zestra works, so I conducted an interview …read more
Clear Out the Clutter for Wellness

I’m someone that can’t think when my house is filled with clutter. Right now, for example, I haven’t done my spring cleaning yet, and I have piles of clothes and books and files that I have every intention of going through. The trouble is, I haven’t had time yet, and every time I walk past these piles of “stuff,” my mind ends up feeling bogged down and I end up feeling very stressed out.
Check out this quote: “Everything in life is imbued with energy. Our clutter is no exception. Clutter blocks the flow of positive energy into …read more
Vitamins…Needed or Not?

There are some items in health news that continually flip flop. Eggs are good for you. Then they are bad. Carbs are the enemy. Then… not so much.
Another flip flopping subject is vitamins. My doctors over the years have suggested that I take them, and after breaking my ankle one year I finally did. I drink milk, and try and eat healthy foods, but still, I take vitamins for that “extra protection.”
However, a new study by the Women’s Health Initiative “tracked multivitamin use by 161,000 older women over an eight-year period to see if …read more
Eat Less, Live Longer

Want to live a longer, healthier life? Who doesn’t, right?
A new article on MSN has six simple hints for living longer. A couple items on the list truly surprised me. I knew, for example, that eating a healthy diet was key to longer live, but what about eating less altogether? Eating less means pushing yourself away from the table when you’re 80% full.
This act alone can lower “production of T3, a thyroid hormone that slows metabolism.” It is also believed to help with longer life.
