Where Did Daddy’s Hair Go?

]]> Where Did Daddy's Hair Go? (Picture Book)I mentioned the book, Where Did Daddy’s Hair Go? (Picture Book) back in late April, when Monsters and Critics had an early review. Now the Detroit News has an article focusing on the illustrator, Henry Payne. Payne works as an editorial cartoonist for the paper and teamed up author, Joe O’Connor, for the children’s book. Sounds like they have a sequel in the works: “Something to do with a kid and his grandfather losing their gravity.”

Book Review: Where Did Daddy`s Hair Go?

]]> Monsters and Critics offers a review of Where Did Daddy`s Hair Go? by Joe O’Connor.

Jeremiah never thought about the top of his dad`s head until, at their first major-league baseball game together, he hears someone call his dad Baldy. His father explains baldness, but Jeremiah remains unclear on the concept. Then he hears his father say, ‘Before I lost my hair.’ Suddenly Jeremiah is a boy with a mission: finding Dad`s lost hair. It`s nowhere in the house, the garden or yard. Disheartened, Jeremiah sees his bald baby sister and rushes to ask if his dad was born bald.

What’s not to like about a children’s book that celebrates “hair doughnuts” and “hair horseshoes”?
