A new wind farm may soon rise in Texas City. This is according to a piece of news that I came across early today. It said that a company that deals with energy, Duke Energy, is actually looking at building a wind farm in the mentioned area.

Although there are still no sure decisions on this one, there are plans about having a wind farm built on Lake County. News about this has leaked out after some officials of the mentioned place has disclosed that there have been a number of private companies who have expressed interest in building such a project. As an advocate of “green” technologies,  I didn’t realize that some people see wind technology the other way.  Most of us only see the benefits of such “green” power and how it enables humanity to cut down its carbon footprint,  however we really haven’t seen and heard much of what other people think about such technology specially from those people who are “affected” by these huge wind turbines.
