There is a common thread amongst most women.  We like bad boys.  I’ve fallen for them, my friends have fallen for them and my friends friends have too.  They’re magnetic.  Most people would suggest that it’s because we instinctively want to change them.  But I don’t think so.  I want them to stay just as wild, dangerous and bad as possible.
Is it because he’s unpredictable?  Or aloof?  Most bad boys act like they don’t care about anything.  Don’t fool yourself, that means they probably don’t care about you either.

My friend pointed this book out to me, The Manual: A True Bad Boy Explains How Men Think, Date, and Mate-and What Women Can Do To Come Out On Top, by Steve Santagati. What a title. Sheesh. Santagati is behind Bad Boys Finish First and was the inspiration for the movie, The Ugly Truth.
I took a peek inside and there’s an explanation of what a bad boy is: he’s the guy who has “your number,” and knows how to use it. He doesn’t feel any remorse for this manipulation and quickly moves on the next lucky lady or un-lucky lady.
